would i get any performance gains by using an intercooler out of a factory turbo'd or supercharged car like an acura,civic,or mustang or any make "so pretty much a factory intercooler" thanks

are you talking about a FMIC
 
you cant use an air to air intercooler. you also cant use a stock blown cars intercooler because they all wont fit right.
 
you man your thinking about the wrong kind of intercooler if your talking about hondas or something, unless you have a turbo....

the intercooler for the supercharger is mounted underneith the supercharger and it has to be made for the car to fit. not something you could just swap in from another car.
 
i didn't know that thanks, a guy with a supercharged mustang said it came factory with an intercooler so i was trying to find a cheap way to help out my GTP. how much does an intercooler go for & where can i find one thanks, also what's a FMIC

fmic, front mount intercooler.

yea 03 04 cobras come supercharged with factory intercoolers, but it will not bolt up/fit our cars. if anything tho, you could use the front mount heat exchanger from the cobra.


if you dont know what any of these things are, do a search and or do some research.........
