intercooler install

hey guy need help with my intercooler install. my i/c core does not have the holes for the coolant passages from the lower intake. if i just put the core on this will leak right?

Not if he does something to seal them up.

Another way would be to file the top edge of a dime until you can tap it into the recessed area with some RTV.

Install o rings and leave it.

Matt...depends on what year.

Newer L32's have no indents for the rings and use the metal gasket.
L67 and older L32's have the indents, using the L32 first design gasket would seal it, using the coolant o-rings from an L67 gasket would seal it. Or.. drill, tap and no more worries.
