intercooler: gen III to gen V mod?

I know you can run a gen v supercharger through a gen iii intercooler core, just greatly reducing efficiencey. I found a great deal on a gen 3 intercooler setup just after I purchased a gen 5 blower. so my question is, can I modify a gen 3 intercooler core to better suit a gen 5 blower?

any advise is welcome and appriciated

You can, or just buy one from that guy in here and use a.golf rad for a fmhe and a Bosche pump.

that was my thought, i just want some confirmation that the concept would work. idk if the core is located differently in the plate between a gen 3 and 5
