intake ports after running E85 for a couple months, PICS

This engine has 140K on it.

A few things to note:
1. Carbon at the entrance of the port not removed since fuel is not coming into contact at that point.
2. Baked on carbon on the intake valve that anything short of new valves or a bench grinder will not remove.
3. How fricken crazy good E85 works to clean your engine!!

I wonder what my piston tops and exhaust valves look like.

fyi, seafoam actually helps. A few years ago I had spuratic KR, I ran a can or 2 through the intake and one in the gas and it went away. Doubt it cleans like E85 though.
