Intake plenum gasket

Hey guys. Thanks for all the post and responses to my last thread. Just gathering info, for a smooth rebuild on the 3800. When placing the intake plenum gasket back on.. what direction should that small tube be?
 


The J-shaped tube?

It clips into the plastic gasket in two spots along it's longer "leg", and the upturned end fits into the bottom of the PCV valve chamber.
