Really wanted to buy that Grand Prix for my sons first car until I see the problems with the intakes leaking. My last Pontiac was a 1988 GTA which guess what had an intake leak and blew the motor. Antifreeze in the oil eats the bearings. Intake was fixed several times by the dealer. GM was blowing 350s in 1988 and in 2003 they still have the problem on from what I can tell all V6s. I was suprised that they screwed up the 350 - best motor ever made but I am shocked to find 20 years later a more widspread disaster.

I just replaced my intake for the second time if its done properly it will be a strong running car mines gone over 90,000 miles since the first time. If you want good gas milage 3.1 is not bad. Just no balls what so ever
