Installing system in 2005 GP for first time

So i just got my newish 2005 Grand Prix a month or so back. I have all my wires and amp with sub from my old car.

My questions are:
What is the best way to run the power wire and to connect the ground wire?

I have the stock cd player in it and really dont mind it, does hookin the amp input thing to the back speakers work pretty good?
