Installing new 1.9 rockers and LS6 springs

I have a 6 gallon air compressor and the the proper tools. Is my air compressor big enough to hold the valves up while I change my springs?
It is rated 125psi max and 90psi normal.

it should work fine. if you hear air passing tap the valve stems, aka top/middle of the springs with a mallet to seat them and stop leaking.

get new valve seals too.

Here's what I got Scotty. 1.9 rockers LS6 Springs LS6 retainers and new valve seals. Can I reuse my factory valve locks and does the engine need to be in TDC for this method?

re use your locks. and when you let the air go in the cylinder its going to push the piston down. every cylinder the engine will turn some.

not sure, but theres youtube vids, its pretty simple, only yhr spring compressor fighting sucks. it likes to pop off the spring.

and a strong magnet helps too to pull the locks out, once the spring is compressed a bit, push to one side to open the lock up and the magnet will pill it out and keep it safe.

in this vid he ises a lever style compressor, it really looks much easier to use but i was told the blower would be in the way, and in the vid the lim is off as well as the blower.

this vid is the more common used spring compressor, this one likes to pop off, he makes it look easy in the vid.

I literally just did this two weeks ago to pull my rockers off. I would highly recommend an extendable magnet for the locks.

with out a magnet its like stupid hard to get the locks out i bet.

i got one of them magnets on a flex stick for retrieving tools nuts and bolts, it works like a charm and doubles as its intended tool too lol

and when one of them locks go flying on you, (hope not) the magnet will help find it in the oil sitting on the top of the head, ask me how i know about this trick lol
