Installing anti pogo washers

Are putting these on as easy as unscrewing the nut, take the current one off, put the new one on, screw the nut back on?
If i take the nut off of the top of the strut, the strut isnt going anywhere is it?

yep its that easy. keep the car on the ground so the weight holds it in place.
