Installed a Gen V SC onto Gen III Intercooler?

Well guys I bet this has been brought up many of times in the past, so I am sorry if I am beating a dead horse here with this topic.

However I have been kicking around the idea of throwing a Gen V onto my car. I currently have a fully ported out ZZP Gen III SC mounted onto a ZZP Stage III Intercooler.

Some have told me you can't mount a gen V onto a gen III intercooler. Then others have told me it works fine and they actually have a working setup themselves. The only downside I hear to running a gen V on a gen III IC core is that 3/4" of the outlet is blocked off. However you will still have a gain over running a ported out gen III.

Now I have a buddy that is looking for a ported out gen III SC and if I am able to get the Gen V to work on my car, I would be selling my old unit to him. So this has given me more of an incentive to try to get this to work.

I didn't wanna have to complete strip the entire IC setup from my car, in order to swap on a gen V Intercooler. I also didn't want to have to spend the extra money on a completely new gen V IC setup. So this is the reason why I wanna try to get this gen V working on my current IC without to much of a hassle.

As far as I know this is what I would need to do/get for the swap:

1.) Gen V Supercharger
2.) Gen V Supercharger Gasket
3.) Gen V Northstar adapter
4.) Two Gen V Intercooler bolts???? - Can I just reuse my my ZZP stage III Intercooler bolts with the gen V?
5.) Somehow block off the evap hole on the Gen V?
6.) Run vac tube from PCV to Northstar adapter

Now currently I am using the stock PCV function because my stage III Intercooler has that option. Will the stock PCV function using the gen V on my gen III Intercooler core?

Now as far as porting goes, is everyone saying that throwing a bone stock Gen V onto the car is the best thing to do? I know the Gen V is much more efficient then even a ported out gen III. However being I am intercooled, should I AT LEAST remove the H bar (the wall) on the bottom of the SC outlet? It would just seem logical to do this being I am intercooled and not so if I was non-intercooled.

One last thing. I am currently running a 2.7" Pulley on my gen III. Can I still get away with running a 2.7" on my Gen V, or would I have to pulley up?

will it work with a genV on a genIII intercooler? yes. will it work up to par with an intercooler made for a genV? no.

its all bolt on, but the core doesnt line up how it should with the different outlet design on the genV. in my opinion, i would just get a genV core and run that way. it isnt that expensive and if you think it is then youre working with too little of money. selling the genIII core will make up at least half the cost of the genV core.

If you had the time you could send it to me and i would port the gen 5 outlet and machine the inlet of the lim and core for you. Just a thought. Prices are good.

Heres a pic of my work:
