Install a shift kit while i change filter??

So my transmission has about 135k mi on it. The fluid is brownish red but more brown. I was just going to do a pan drop and filter change, but thought when Im at it should I install a transgo shift kit? Right now the tranny shifts good, no slipping etc. I dont think the fluid has ever been changed before I owned the car. Just wondering your guys opinions. I'm not going to be doing much modifications maybe just headers. So I wont be beating the piss out of it.
 


I put the trans go kit in mine. Wasn't having any issues either. I just considered it preventative maintenance on a higher mileage trans. Along with a new filter and fluid.
 
Ok. I suppose ill put one in. I just wasn't sure with having that many miles without a possible fluid or filter change and it being brownish as well.
