I heard that when installing a new 2 din head unit in this car that I will run into an issue with the dashboard computer. Does anyone have details on this? Anyone out there with an aftermarket in-dash GPS system in a 2004 GT2?

just get the recomended harness , the gm vehicles from 04 and up have a can bus communication system and the harness usually runs 109-129 but makes the install much easier because the speed sence wire is the only thing over a regular deck that needs to be hooked up so its fairly straight forward install , takes a double din kit and that harness and a antenna adapter
