Increasing tension on seat belt return

Is there a way to increase the tension on the spring that pulls the seat belt back when you unbuckle it?? Mine will not go in all the way unless you do it by hand every time...I have everything apart right now, and can see nothing visible that is wrong with it, so im assuming the return spring has gotten weak...Thanks
 


Agreed. The whole assembly is held together with rivets and designed not to be tampered with. You really don't want to mess with something that important.
