In case no one saw. Gas Prices are going UP today and tomorrow...

A friend of mine at my local gas up told me they are raising prices today a minimum of 20 cents per gallon and are expected to raise it again possibly tomorrow.

So if you haven't gotten gas yet or need to? I would probably suggest getting a few gallons before it blows through the roof again :(

Premium where I get my gas up is gonna be a little over $3.50 a gallon later today and more tomorrow probably.

Just wanted to give people a heads up.

it just went down yesterday (was $3.49 on Sunday when I was too low to risk waiting) it's a normal tactic, prices go up Tuesday and Wednesday, and come down Monday, with schools starting spring break the prices will go up (our schools are still a couple weeks off though)

Yeah more than likely, but I dont feel like running to empty in the hopes that it drops. I just wanted to pass the word along :) It's the first she ever really went out of her way to tell me. I mean 20 cents is pretty steep when you are sitting on empty to fill up with Premium, but that's the price we pay :)

Went up here...$3.70 for premium!

I put in $30...just enough to get me to the weekend; when I switch back to E85 again...

You guys still have it fairly cheap. We're paying around $3.90US/gallon for regular if my volume and currency conversion math is right, based on $1.08/L. And that's in Toronto, it's more expensive outside the Toronto area and much more out west in Alberta from what I'm told.

With some improvements I made to the engine this past week...my milage went back up. Was averaging 22 MPG, now I'm averaging 27 MPG.

I did the math, and that saves me $13 a week overall. By switching back to E85; even with it's bad milage I save an additional 1.25! For the first time it has finally become worth it to switch to E85. Glad I spent the time last year to learn how to run it right, now it's just a PCM burn and a fill up away!
