• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

So i used to own a pretty little 2001 GT coupe, until a blow out put me into the center divider at 60mph. :th_angry2:

3 weeks ago i decided it was time to come back, so now i am the proud owner of a 2000 GT coupe.

Dark blue, tan leather, 167k, and bone stock.

Now to address the initial issues

1st drivers window, no biggie, new window regulator from JY.

2nd AC blows cold and hard. heat blows decently warm, but hardly any air movement. if i put it to max it is trying hard, just not moving much air through the dash vent. Floors seems to put out more. ive been reading on the blower motor resistors but that seems to effect both heat and AC. this is kinda stumping me. only thing i can think of is a blocked or lose HVAC line or duct????

3rd issue is every now and then i get a CEL light( SES) in these cars. saying i have a light circuit bad( i wanna say it was 605 or 650) i will have to have it pulled again. again this is only sometimes

lastly every time i started the vehicle and start moving ( forward or backward) i can feel a slight grind/hesitation. its not the trans, because as soon as i push the throttle it keeps the momentum. it feels like maybe a CV axle(??). again this is only the initial movement. not just from a stop its only when first driving after sitting for a few hours.

again i am coming from the Jeep world and some of this is new to me. Thanks in advance for any help and i look forward to see all of y'all in the forum.

1st Window is easy you've got that solved

2nd the Resistor only controlls fan speed, if it's bad the blower will only work on certain speeds, no speeds, but always work on 5 as the blower bypasses the resistor all together

3rd im not too familiar with, although unless your having issues with your guage cluster or something of the sort not lighting up at night, try scanning it again and getting the full detailed description

4th I would say this one can be a few different things, check your brakes first, if they are good, then its a possibility it's your hub bearings being worn as they will create the same symptom they are easy enough to swap out.

2 i will check tonight.

3 i have a back up light out, and a rear running light out( it light up when i hit the brakes tho)

4 i need to get a manual and start checking things... lol

thanks man
