Hey guys Ive been gone for a while... busy with work, but Im back into this now.

After my first header disaster i got discouraged, but now Im back at it and am thinking about buying SSautochrome headers, the SLP knockoffs... anyone know about these? thanks in advance later!

i havent had them myself, but i havent heard very good things about them quality wise. I'd say spend the extra buck and get S&S headers, or if you wanna go really expensive... zzp stainless

Ive heard lots of good about them from a few members on here. they are exact same as SLP's so Im sure they will be fine

Welcome back Riley :) Well you have Brian to help you so the any problems with the SS's should be easy to knock out

Well half a set is gone, the other full set is just sitting here **** man if you want them, 100 bucks plus shipping... I dont need them at all anymore.

it really depends on how much work you want to do installing them that will define which headers you should buy. if i were to buy headers again i would look at them in this order:

ZZP > S&S > TOGs > SLP > Pacesetters > the rest..

I've seen S&S headers, yeah there nice, but TOGs are better than them no doubt. TOGs were #1 and they may still be. I have no experiance with the ZZPs, but if there supposedly better, than TOGs are #2 without a doubt.

TOGs were the easiest header I've ever installed on a car (granted, i've only done RWD versions previously).

So let me fix that...

ZZP > TOGs > S&S > SLP > Pacesetters > the rest..

GTPRiley,

If I were you and all the trouble you had the first go around, i'd spend the money and get some good S&S headers. I wouldn't want to go through the same bull**** as you did previously...

we all know what opinions are like. :p

i would stick with the top four brands though (ZZP, TOG, S&S, SLP).

ha.

and pacesetters fit fine, just have leak problems... but brian helped me address that problem so you should be good with that.
