I had a rack and pinion go bad on me I'll never change one again alone. It was not hard but nerve racking having to drop the engine with out a second set of hands. but i got it done and the new one will be here tomorrow
 


you had to drop the engine to get the rack out, must be different on your year, but removing a motor is a little difficult alone, at least you know now, and it is always easier the second time around
 
true this is the first rack i've ever changed i went in blind i looked at how it was in the car and took it apart and i'm gonna reinstall it like it took it out
