idle issues

Ok so I got the vacuum leak taken care of and now there is another problem with the idle. When I'm stopped at a stop light the idle is shaking the car as in it dips down to 550rpm then back to 800. Feels like its going to stall and then back up And when i accelerate till about 1500-2000rpms it kinda chugs along but after that it gets up and goes like i want. It shakes the car pretty decent i pulled the iac valve And it was gunky so I wiped as much as I could off. One thing I noticed was it didn't push in or pull out easy at all. But I didn't know how freely it is supposed to move. What can I clean that valve with And knowing that was all gunked up where can I see a video or pictures to remove my tb and clean that? Could that be the answer to my problem? Thanks In advance guys!

I'd just replace the IAC if you suspect it. As far as removing the TB and cleaning it, just remove the bolts from the UIM and pull the TB. Clean the entire thing until it shines (backside is typically the worst). Make sure you replace the gasket as well when reinstalling. You will loose a bit of coolant when you remove the TB.

YouTube search for GM 3800 throttle body removal. I'm sure it's there.
