So I got to come home for mothers day thanks to the rain!!! But!!!! I get to my parents and what do I see?!?!?! My dads old TA!!!! All original parts!!!!! I was kinda wishing he was going to give it to me for Mothers day..but it was his early birthday present from my mom! LOL The guy doing the restore got done about 2 months to soon LOLhere is some pics of it. It started raining so I couldn't get alot I will get some more tomorrow.

Bad ass! Another one of my dream cars!! (Although i'm more fond of the 77-78 because of the movie, it'll still work for me!)

Please tell me it has a CB in it and an antenna ready to be mounted between the t-tops?!?!? I'm ready to grab some cases of beer from Texarkana!

What year is it? 79? I assume its Olds powered? Give me some details girl.......
 
Well it don't have a CB in it! LOL. He owned a cougar before the TA and the story goes he raced like anything that would move and the ONLY thing that beat him was a TA so like a month later he sold his cougar and got the TA. We was going to re-paint it but never did...and the motor locked up on us. Well mom found a guy local who had a TA grave yard! LOL So we had it restored for him it was going to be a birthday present. He thought the car was still in storage! LOL!! I new my mom told me I would die when I seen what my dad got me....soo when I pulled up my heart was beating sooo fast!!! But...dad gave me some new hoosiers for the camaro! LOL Still good!! But I would rather have the TA! The paint has like silver flakes in it..its VERY nice! But im thinking its a 77 or 79 and i do know it has the 403 in it(or it did before the restore). I don't really know much about it since the last time I worked on the car I was like 11! But now she is up and running im excited!!!
 
Nice car! I'm thinking its a 79-81.... 77 and 78 had a slightly different nose than that one, if you're familiar with smokey and the bandit. Headlights were intergrated in the grilles that year, I wish I had a pic handy....

ewww...dont get me started about the vette....:th_sick1: When my mom bought it, it was black...she wanted yellow but didn't like Chevy yellow..so she had it painted FORD yellow...:th_shakinghead1::th_shakinghead1:

One reason she had it painted that color was because it matches her tanning salon theme or whatever. Not many people know its not a Chevy color...but I know!!! LOL
