• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I need the fuel pros in here!!

Alright so Im going through this dispute of what injector size I should go with. Should I go with the 42s or the 60s? Now I will have a forced induction set up. At the moment I dont plan on running e85. For now I just plan on getting the car running decently. Once things settle in I will plan to swap to e85. Now my question is can I run 60s with 91 octane and use the 60s at a lower percentage? Or is there a specific operating range for the the injectors.

Thanks in advance!

Definitely go with 60s in my opinion. I ran 60s both on pump gas on a low power build as well as on E85 now. You shouldn't have any issues with idling/drivability/etc. On pump gas with the 60s. And then they'll be great to have with plenty of headroom when switching to E85!

Dispute with who? You can use whatever size, its all relative to whether or not it gives an advantage or is needed.

42's are just a slight bit larger than stock, not running E85 then why do you think you need larger injectors to run decently?

you can run 60's if you want, adjust the tune!

range is specific to the injector, look up the specs and you'll know.

research, research, research, there's plenty of threads on injectors, e85, etc., HPT site too... Ultimately, you leave out some information ie, forced induction? Plans? Mod's? Lol...

60's won't hurt a thing except the pocket!

Thanks in advance!

No problem : )

Just to let u know i was around 12-13ms at wot with a 3.8 pulley, 65's, and raceatronix pump i think injectors max out 22ms.
