Oxymoron: Civic - Fun
I know similar questions have been asked and with different responses, but I was wondering if I could get away with 19 inch rims WITH COILOVERS....or would that just completely kill the car? I even asked the guy at the dealership about just the rims and he didnt even know, is there anyone who actually has experience with this matter? I just had a vision in my head of 19 inch black rims with polished lip and maybe an inch or two more tucked in would just look sick I think, thanks for any help.
 


I felt sorry for ya with the no responses. But I didn't want to post anything about not being able to help and have you get your hopes up by seeing someone responding.

Sorry I don't know either (which is why I didn't post), but you could measure your tire mounted on the wheel, and then use the equation (rim width) + 2*(cross section)*(aspect ratio) to get a good idea of the diameter of the package you are considering. I've heard of people running 20's with really low profile tires. The SSC's drop our car about 1.7", and I have no idea how much extra clearance there is.
