Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Here is the story. 1996 Oldsmobile 88, L36 1996 Buick riviera, L67 I put the L67 in the Olds. Used the Olds Harness, modded it for the MAP sensor, just left the boost bypass unhooked. It WILL RUN with started fluid, but the security light is on and it will not crank. The security light does not go off after 10 minutes or 10 hours. I have keys for both cars, so I went to the dealer and had a key made to fit the oldsmobile switch, but with the pellet from the Buick. In my theory, this should allow the passkey system to work properly, I would just need to do the re-learn, but there is the problem, the security light never goes off. I found 1 post where a guy swapped a riviera engine into an Oldsmobile, but I think it was an achieva or something. In his post, he stated that he had to re-pin the entire PCM connector. Now I can do this, but I can't find the pinouts for the PCMs. The GM dealership can't help me, the Library and their database of chiltons manuals went nowhere. Can anyone here help with offering anything I might have missed, and especially if anyone can post or link me to the pinouts for the 96 olds and 96 buick. I appreciate any help, I have been searching here and many other l67 swap and enthusiasts sites, and I can not find the pinouts, or really any info other than the basics. Thanks guys!!

1, I spaced my first post so it could be read easily. I don't know why it's smashing my lines together and creating a wall of text, but it sucks. Also, I just finally found some PCM pinouts, but it says they are all the same for 1996, L36, L67...exactly the same. Can anyone verify this for me? If the PCM connection isn't my problem, then I just really don't know what to do....

I sure hate to hear that.

That site won't let me register, says my IP address is blocked by some stupid spam blocker site....that spam site says my IP is perfectly clear.

Then, well...it's just 10,000 posts, all asking what parts they need, all with the same answers, all with 0 help to me. The mechanical "What parts fit" is childs play...a monkey could do it, but yet all the forums are so diluted with the same question you can't find any of the actually valuable info.

ARGH!!
Thanks anyway guys, and if anyone has any advice, I would still appreciate it!
Take care,

LOL, sound like how the Powertuner boards have been to me.

I know very little about this subject for this car.... tell me, is the fuel pump staying on? I remember a long time ago on a Pre Gen GP if you didn't have a constant HOT wire directly to the fuel pump, the car wouldn't run with an L67 swap.
