i just installed a mechanical boost gauge. max boost is about 9-10 psi. my car currently has a 3.6 pulley. its a 2004 (gen v sc), plog, 3 in dp, and high flow cat. judging by the boost, its flowin pretty good. max kr im getting seems to be about 1.5-2 no more then 3 ever. i have a dhp box tune right now. well i finally found someone local who has a tuner. he said he has tuned a couple gtps and from others peoples reviews, says he does pretty well. well will the custom tune benefit me enough to put on the 3.4 pulley i have staring at me from my desk every day? i know this is very objectional and car specific but just wanna hear some feedback. thanks
 


I'd be leery of a guy that's just done a couple....make sure he knows what he's doing first and foremost.
 
well im gonna have it done for sure, pulley drop or not. and he has done many cars, just only a few GPs. i have been doing alot of reading and such about tuning and im gonna watch closely to see if he is doing everything the same style most of you describe here.
