I have an odd radio issue

In all the reading and research I've done, I have not seen any mention of this, and I don't really know how to describe it to a search engine well enough to get the right answer.

01 GTP, Stock Bose System.
Battery died, I replaced it, and the stereo hasn't made a sound since.

Weird part is, it will accept/eject a CD, the display work, you can change the time, clock is accurate, and no ERR or other message on it. It's as if the radio is off and all the control buttons don't work.

Is my radio toasted?

Nothing else stopped working ,and all fuses are good (under hood and in glovebox)

I have the same issue with my tape system but it spits the tape out everytime and when i play the radio it cuts in and out no matter what channel i think its just shot!
