• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I got a code!!!???

I don't see P1517, but I do see P1571.

P1571 - Electronic brake control module torque signal request, range, or performance problem.

I think you need a new EBCM.

that is wat the scanner said.
but I got a print-out at the local tec. school, and omg the crap you got to go though tto test it. is there an easier way to test then disconect one wire at a time to test the voltage to each one. I "really?".

In a short answer, no. I am a mechanic, and you can't just through parts at it and expect it to fix the problem. Most often the module is not the problem, but rather the wiring.

Time for a wiring diagram, multimeter, and trouble tree.

yea well I been thinking I could let my boss take it to school and let his students mess with it, or take it to the prison and let the inmates do it.
