Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

I first posted awhile back that I recently resurrected a 1998 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP but I had no pics yet, Well i have been doing a lot of interior customizing and so i figured i would show off what i have done so far. I pretty much gutted the interior cleaned everything and i initially was only going to do a little paintwork, well once i started i just couldn't stop. Im not sure if i like all the red or not but im going try it out for awhile, i hope you like it.

What is that in the cubby-hole on the left, by the headlight switch???

BTW the slideshow is cool and all, but you know you can use the little "insert image" button and copy the direct link from photobucket and post each picture like I did... right?
(if you do, uncheck the "Retrieve remote file and reference locally")

Ya that is an old p.i.a backup sensing alarm that i haven't removed yet.
Also i'm a newb with the photobucket stuff. I cant seem to figure out image instead of slideshow

Since owning the car i have replaced all four wheel hub assemblies, front brakes totally gone through, both half-shaft assemblies replaced, replaced all struts and springs, these are the only majors i have done. i still have the rear brakes to do, s\c coupler, figure out the dreaded abs\traction control fault issue, and a few plastics of inner fender wells and under front facia. It runs very strong and has been the most dependable car i have owned. I change filters and fluids quite frequently since it is my daily driver in which i travel 200 miles a day 4 days a week. I am excited to have gotten a car that turns heads and fun to drive all in one. Almost forgot the engine an s\c had a complete rebuild at 196,000 miles. The tranny to my knowledge has not been touched-?

if your trans fluid is nice and red its in pretty good shape, most dont last that long. so it may have been rebuilt at some point in its life.

if its still red ish in color a pan drop and new filter cant hurt.

sounds like you got all caught up on the regular maintenance that almost every one of these cars needs when bought used. at those miles you sure could expect to be changing parts.

the abs light, you may just want to get the car scanned at a shop if you changed all 4 hubs chasing the abs light.

Yea i do plan on tranny filter and oil change pretty quick although it does have pretty clear red oil and does not smell burnt.
I did change the 4 hubs within the 4 years i have owned it because the bearings actually went bad, i still plan on getting scanned though beings its my daily commuter 200 miles of highway and freeway driving 4 days a week. Besides I i like my vehicles running at tip top shape. I also think this car is worth it to me to put some money into, that part does not bother me. Then when i get everything with car caught up i can start thinking about where to start modding.
