A buddy said his battery terminals were stripped and cracked. He replaced them. When he starts the car now, it has a mind of its own. The lights were flickering, the engine revs up on its own, the horn honked, and his trunk randomly popped. It also kept locking and unlocking repetively. Anyone know what's wrong?
 


Make sure the battery is connected tightly and the cables are clean. And of course on the correct terminals,lol..
 
I'll second the clean/tighten terminals. I always give the cable a little wiggle after tightening the terminal to make sure it's tight enough. If it moves at all, I crank it down some more.
