so yeah i was rerouting my plug wires and stuff under my supercharger "looks better" when i stumbled on a problem.... AND A MAJOR PROBLEM... ok so i put what i thought were the correct plug numbered wires back.... i guess i mixed 2 of them up because i started it up and it sounded like a bomb blowing up i was sure i needed to have a rebuild cuz it sounded VERY bad ughh ok. swapped 2 wires were fine now runs and everything is dandy. =] except i discover my "looking under the hood" rear drivers side all the way in the right back corner. i think what 6th cylinder? the wire has a burn in it and the meterials fibers and stuff are ripped out and looks crappy. so i test drive it anyways she randomly died out.. this must be the problem!! so tomarrow im going to a yard to get a plug wire get this theres a 5 dollar yard fee for w.e i buy... its 1 $(%*in wire! lol of all wires its the pain in the ass wire haha. whatever i guess. ill get her done tomarrow and yes i was scared $(%*less today after the wrong plug wire mixup haha glad i corrected my mistake ha:th_winking:

But the backfire should not have caused that.
 
I mixed up a couple wires once and my blown motors sounded better than out of order misfire IMO.

AND...F7 that thing...thatwasoneofthelongestrunonsIhaveeverread. Daaaaaaaaaaayyyuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum.

yup exactly like that except burned almost in half.... lol its all good guys simple fix no worries imma run to a yard tomarrow and pick up a wire =] and yes cylinder 6
 
Run to a junkyard for a used and probably crappy plug wire?

Dude, go to O'Reillys, spend $30, and get a set of Lifetime Borg/Warner Plug Wires for your year/make/model of your car. Some things shouldn't be had second hand at a junkyard, plug wires is one of them IMO.

I bet the rest of your wires are **** too, it could probably use a good fresh set of wires and plugs too, probably run smoother and gain MPG too.....
 
not funny for me although the exhaust sounded sweet as if it was cammed ha but yeah i had two problems and since i have such a good relationship with a local autozone buddy i got the wire for free and its brand new he just yanked it outta another box haha =] and i had a vaccum leak "the line under the supercharger" the GTP is all good now ha =]
