The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.
I think I read somewhere that a hv2 intake can be inserted in a series 3 engine with some modification, is that correct? And would there be a difference between the hv2 and hv3 power wise if installed?
iirc they have versions of the hv2/3 for both series II and III. i think they were molded in diff colors too. the HV3>HV2 as both produce good top end but the 3rd version doesn't loose as much low end.
Not being a smart ass, but if you don't know the answer...don't assume the rest of the forum doesn't. Most of the time getting an answer from ZZP is compared to pulling all your teeth in one day.
Yes you can mod it to fit. There is a decent amount of material to remove. On the 2 vs 3, my understanding is that the 3 was made a bit better.
I have a HV3 for a Series 3 for sale if you are interested. Looking for $120 shipped. The HVII and III are different. The new version that zzp has released is made from polyurethane. Series III is Red and Series II is black. The older HV2versions you have to cut it some to make a proper fitment for the L26
