humming noise when i turn on my A/C.

can anyone help me out with this? a constant humming noise is heard when i turned on my a/c and then switched over to heat and it still came on. help please

blower fan bearings are going bad, or something fell into the squirrel cage and is making noise.

its up and under the pass side dash, like behind the glove box. its a few bolts, kinda tight, but very doable. search for a how to, its here somewhere. use google and add a "grandprixforums" at the end of your search.
