Hey guys been friendly smack talking a friend's buddys car. Just wanted to know if I will get embarrassed or not. My car is a 04 impala ss with wizaird cai 3.5 pulley ported front manifold 3" catted downpipe overkill mail order tune auto lite 104's 180 tstat, vs 1994 Lexus sc400 with the v8 auto custom cat back and some free mod for the egregious I believe. We want to race from a dig at a 1/8 mile track. How will I do ?

I believe my car weighs 3446 and the sc400 weighs 3800 were both around 250lbs and he has 10th more stock even though that's not all that important. I noticed they don't really have aftermarket parts for them.

If it's a 1st gen it weighs around 3500 so weight is about the same. Stock for stock it would be a driver's race. Looking at your mod list, you should win.

Well I was out of town this weekend and he went to the track with his sc400. It's a 1/8 mile track his times are 9.69 at 74.39 mph. He's like my buddy was driving and he's not use to the car. Dude its an auto lol yeah I know there's a technique to launching but I doubt he could get much better time launching it

I guess he didn't have his license on him. Anyways here's his mods.. custom low mount true cold air with collector behind bumper. Egr delete. Cat delete. Resinator delete. Shorty headers. Custom exhaust 2.5in polished stainless - cut welded and build with X pipe exhaust from 2010 mustang. 4th solinoid disconnect on Trans ....

And I guess he said he had couple hundred lbs worth of stereo equipment and 20 's on it. I think I'll still get him just won't be putting bus lengths on him.
