Big Mama, my rock, my gorgeous Silvermist 99 coupe, has done me fowl the past couple of months. She has had a problem starting and just cuts off for random reasons. I don't know why. I've taken her to different mechanics and to Pontiac and they all say the car is fine. Since there is no Check Engine light on to give a code, according to Pontiac, they can't figure out what's wrong with the car. I'm tired of it and I'm planning on selling it after I finish my sophmore year of college in the summertime. How do I go about selling it? What if the car never cuts off again from that time on? Could I just say it did cut off but hasn't anymore? What is the lowest price I could accept for the car? Is it even sellable? Would you even buy it? The blue book is about $3300 or so. She is a 99 coupe. Silvermist. 113k miles. New brakes, right outer tie rod end, newish tires. She's missing 3 speakers, the passenger window doesn't work and she's got a little rust. Her Airbag light is on, so is the ABS light and the Trac control light.....I am selling it but don't know what to do. Any suggestions? Thanks.

how does it cut off? does it stall randomly? sounds like a CPS if so

a bad hub sounds like the culprit for the abs and trac light

the more you fix the more you will get out of it

It does do it randomly. It just cuts off, straight off. No noise at all, just off. And a bad hub? Sounds expensive.......

If you're selling it just get some ebay hubs.

They're really cheap and its 30 minutes to change a front hub if you know what you're doing.
