How to remove 2004 - up Reverse Light Housing?

I am trying to remove the reverse light housing on a 2007 GP.

I see the 4 bolts inside the trunk lid, but once I remove those I am not sure how to get the lens off?

I presume it is supposed to be removed (thus the reason for the bolts), but I can't figure out to get it to budge.

It should come off easily. Make sure you are removing the correct nuts.

I found a picture of one online and confirmed I removed the correct 4 nuts, perhaps i need to remove the bulb sockets first for it to loosen up. That's the only thing I can think of to try.
