We had clearance issues with SD headers. Just had to drive the studs in a bit farther.

best thing to maek sure they seal/install properly, is to cut 2-3 cleaning groves across the threads of an old head bolt and run it through each hole to clean the OEM bolt crud out....
Or use a tap.

tap cuts out the root of the threads and weakens em.
use a thread chaser or its cheaper to cut slots in the bolt with a 3" cutoff wheel or a dremel...

not at all, but i cut em at an angle, one in a clockwise and one counterclockwise..one cleans well going in, the other cleans well coming out...then just a wire/nylon barrel brush "thread" em and/or compressed air

Hmmmmmm... Just want to clarify the torque spec and ask what everyone else has done.

as far as the torque sequence, I dont remember if I torqued them incrementally, but I do remember I torqued them to 80 ft/lbs. been driving around for a couple weeks and no issues.
