How to identify magnasteer

I checked my SPID and do not have NV7 but have found through some searching that the car could still have magnasteer? Is there a definitive way to tell without looking at the rack and pinion?

turn the wheels to the right, then look from behind the driver side wheel to the rack boot area, if its got magnasteer it will have a wire leading up to the top of the tranny area.

it should only take like 2 minutes to see if it does...... including turning the car on and turning the wheels

see the plug hanging off the bottom? that plug will lead up to the tranny. your pic is of the bottom of the rack, its of no help to see a wire.

My car is missing the code for magnasteer.... It has it anyways. Gm don't give a f$#% when making those stickers

So I pulled the fuse that goes to the abs and all of that and didn't really feel any difference. Would it be a major difference?

I feel mine working on on - off ramps to the highway at normal speeds, sometimes it feels like its there, sometimes it dosent.
