that is the real reason for the long sentence, parole makes it hard to sentence anyone for the length they need, and the supreme court says you cant kill someone for rape, only murder
 
True, and people who molest kids should have the book thrown at them.

I wasn't disagreeing with the sentence at all. That's exactly what he deserves. And if he's placed in the general population in the right prison, he may have wished for death.
 
I also think they should take away his premium cable (visited a maximum security prison, and they had pay per view porn on)
 
Don't worry our "LOVELY" ACLU will find a way to defend him and say that his incareration is cruel and inhuman punishment. Never mind his "petty" sexual assualts. I guess none of them had their family members sexually assualted before? I say let the f*@#er rot!

And I agree with Rep. Stick him in General Population. He won't last long. Ala Jeffery Dalmer*, the guy who killed him should have gotten a reduced sentence for doing the world a favor :p
 


I was reading over the article and found this equally distrubing.

During the trial, the teens testified about the abuser....

But Rick Alley, Pope's defense lawyer, told jurors in close arguments that the victims were incapable of understanding what happened, the Weatherford Democrat reported in its Wednesday online edition.

"If it was as traumatic as they indicate, they would be able to give you (specific dates and times of the incidents). Simply because it's shocking doesn't make it true," Alley said

This POS lawyer needs to be put in prision and be repeatedly surprise buttsexed over and over and the let's see if he remembers every encounter he was raped? Stupid POS! And people wonder why our legal system is soooooooooooooo messed up!

There are medical and proven factual reasons why some rape victims do not remember all the dates and times of their attackers assualts. Their mind takes over and blocks certain events out over time. Its not that they just simply forgot about it, but their mind literally blacks out the times of the assaults.

If there is one thing more distrubing than murder, it is the raping of innocent young women, and boys too, and these POS lawyers try to make it their fault! Sure there are some young teens who know that they are doing at such young ages, but in this case, I HIGHLY doubt this is one of those times!!

I can't fault the defense attorney for trying to do his job. I'm sure the whole damn thing will be appealed anyway...

I would sort of agree here. I know he was sworn to uphold the articles of law and to have the belief that everyone is innocent until proven guilty. But in this case............Its kind of a slamdunk for the PA to win. And you are right, with our glorious legal system, this POS will get 10 appeals and waste our precious tax dollars instead of taking it like a man and owning up to what he did.

Defense attorneys who are just out of the bar and that are not working for some big law firm, generally wind up with chitless cases like this. I feel for them, and I would NEVER want to walk a mile in their shoes. I wonder how sometimes they can sleep at night knowing these monsters are more guilty than innocent. Sure there are a few who are actually innocent, but this guy..........mmmmmmmmmmmmm NO :)
 


anyone touches my kids like that the court system will be the last of their worries... saw on court tv a few years back,this guys kid got kidnapped for a week or so...well the dad is standing in the court room hallway when this scumbag goes to court with a 38 snub nose...to make this short the guy that kidnapped his son got one point blank in the side of the head.dad was charged but found not guilty...to me thats justice!!! :D
