• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

how to fix a heated seat.

It most likely is in the top elements. The top kind of clips together on he bottom of it. If you have a steamer for clothes it have help make it easier to put back on when done.

And look above your post for the relay thing you recall ;)

Took mine out and peeled the leather off. tested all connections with Ohm meter and they all read good. put the damn thing back together and reinstalled to check for the relay noise. clicks like it should. seat works fine. must have had a bad harness connection somewhere I'm guessing... Moral of the story? CHECK FOR LOOSE HARNESSES FIRST! I swear I have fixed more GM gremlins by unplugging and replugging the harnesses over the years. hope this saves someone the trouble someday.

I gotta dig back into this. Where did you test the ohm's for continuity?

The ohms were tested between the start and finish line of the live wire. All over the seat to be sure. Testing anything that I registered in the wire (regardless of numbers ). Tells me there's power and no shorts🤔 Correct?

Booty heater finally gave out this year.
Last year it was inconsistent and would turn off.

I tore into it to find one wire broke, 1 almost severed and 2 with cracked insulation.

Solder and heat shrink fix now makes my balls warm again.
