How to clean Coolant Level Sensor?

Hello everyone, Since I have some free time tomorrow I am going to clean my coolant level sensor. My coolant light flickers on and off even though I have sufficient coolant in the car. Can anyone give me some steps on how to tackle this easily? and be specific please, thanks alot

Just unplug it. Monitor your coolant level like every other car. If you insist on cleaning it i have to ask if you have gotten rid of the nasty orange dexcool yet?? If not it will just gunk up again.

Will unplugging it cause my car to throw a code? I have this issue as well. I hate seeing dummy lights on my dash... makes me feel like my car is raggedy.

Im actually planning on flushing in the upcoming weeks, or right before temps get in the freezing zone. i remember I waited too long to change from water to coolant and my car ended up overheating on me, in 30 degree temps. Good thing it didnt damage my block though

Moved, to clean it just pop it out and spry it down with water and brush off the stuck stuff. I just unplugged mine.
