How to change a Thermostat in a 04 Grand Prix GT?

My check engine light came on so I checked it with a obd reader and it says the problem is my thermostat. How do I change this on a 04 grand prix and is it fairly easy?
 


Follow the radiator hose to the lower intake manifold. There are two 10mm bolts holding the thermostat housing to the lim. If you remove those (some coolant will spill) and lift the housing off the thermostat is right under the housing. Ensure you put a new ring on the new stat and clean the housing/lim surfaces. I like to use a light amount of rtv on the housing to seal it to the LIM as they are known to seep. Then tighten the two bolts back down and refill.
