How noticeable is the lumbar supposed to be?

I just swapped 06 seats into my 01 GTP and so I now have the lumbar button and the lumbar motor makes noise and yet there really ain't s*** happening inside the seat back. I mean at the very, very end of travel when the lump or whatever is supposed to be as far into my lower back as possible - I can just start to feel it moving. Every other part of it's travel is a whole lot of nothing.

For you guys with factory 04+ lumbar, is this normal or should I be able to truly feel the lumbar lump making big changes in the firmness and support of the seat back (like in any other car I've been in with lumbar adjustment)? Or do I have a broken lumbar thing?

my lumbar isn't too noticeable either although the seats have always had miles on them so may just be old im planning on getting seats from a junkyard this weekend ill notify of any differences

When I first installed my '04+ seats, the drivers lumbar worked great. Within days, it was gone. Hit the button, feel it move, and within a few minutes, nothing. I'm assuming there was a hole in the air system somewhere.

So yes, you should notice and feel it.

I have an extremely bad back, from stenosis to bulging disks. I have never sat in a car or truck that offered enough or the proper support for me. As much of a pain in the butt it is, I use a lumbar pillow.

I know people might make comments or whatever about having it in the car, in the way, that they have to move it to drive it. Oh well, my back and myself being comfortable is much more important than their inconvenience.
