How much do you think one could get for an 04' GTP with approx 50,000 miles? I see a few on Ebay with 100,000 + K going for 9,995- 12,000. My guess is I still couldn't get much more than that even with half the mileage...

What do you think?

I'm only considering this because of the price of gas. I highly doubt I will actually sell the car... but just thinking of it as an option.
 


ALL city driving the other day. swear i cought every red light possible. with a 4.5 gallons of gas i got a little over 110 miles. it averged out to about 24 miles to the gallon. i dont think you can get to much better. keep your foot out of it.

I paid 13,995 (Which included an extended warranty). Car had 39,000 miles on it then. With some recent front end repairs, the warranty has turned out to be priceless.

I love this car - I don't REALLY want to get rid of it. I'm averaging about 19.3 MPG - But I do a lot of sitting in traffic and short bursts. I get most of actual mileage on the highway... but it just takes a lot of red lights before I actually get on it!
 
easy on that right foot. i just take off real slow and coast in the city as much as possible. and yess mine came with an extended warrenty that pretty much bought a new tranny 2 weeks after i got it :D

Ouch, haha. I am actually sad that there are no problems with my tranny. I kind of wish it would die so I can get a new one before the warranty runs out... but who knows... I got a couple of years and about 28,000 miles left on the warranty...
 
i was putting mine when 3rd gear went out. yea i doged it before that, just got it had to see what it could do. but when it went out i wasnet even on it hard. it was kinda weird. but new cluthes and everything so im happy :) i thought i had some colent leaking into the motor, i was hoping it would blow it and i could get a whole new block :)

How did that work out with the coolant? Is the series III as plagued as the II???? I'm wondering if this is something I should be real concerned about with my 04
 
nah it was just leaking out the hose going down from the overfill onto the block. i always smealed it burning and dident know where it was from. but everytime i changed my oil no signs off coolent so i think im good.
 
Yours is an 04 - ever had any issues with the steering? I just had a steering gear, tie rod ends, intermediate steering shaft and a sway bar link repair.

Poor thing.
 


nope no problews with any of those. i did get hit in the wheel and i have poping noises now but im thinking its either the cradle bolts or the bushings in the struts. idk gotta get in there and check them out
