yea im just curious if im gonna be close to my goal...here is m list of mods

gen v( still lookin for one)
DART well ported heads and intake
5 angle valve job
39lb injectors
N*
intense stage 3 cam
headers
3.29 gears

thats pretty much the just of the list..havent decided what size pulley im gonna start with prolly around 2.8 , just curious if anyone has a similar setup and has dynoed there car....
 


Kind of makes me wonder if those injectors are gonna go *ack*

my goal is right around that but 330 whp...is that what u ment? i think the injectors should be fine, stock is 33.2 or 33 arent they?
 
Oh, sorry I was guessing HP at the crank. Stock injectors are 32, but the heads and that S3 cam may be pushing them. I'll be interested in seeing how it goes though.
 
Do you already have these? I haven't heard anything good about the Intense Stage 3 cam, so if you are planning on buying these may want to look around. If you have, then I hope you have better luck than others have.
 
If you go ICed and rockers you need at least 42.5ers. Stockers will not hold. Dont blow an engine cause you dont want to spend an extra $250

FWIW you CAN tune a GenV on the street with a 3.1 and that's with stock heads, I can only imagine with good heads it would make it better. That's one thing that I do like about mine.
 
^mine too.

I have the IS3 cam and heads and a GenV, great combo I think so. Daily driving, a 3.4 is enough for me with my 9.6:1 compression. At the track, I will run as small as a 3.2 and she really loves that according to the times.

Well it seems like everybody that has has the ssic ended up getting the fsic...So i just skipped the ssic and went broke :th_winking:
 
I was maxing out stock injectors on my IS3 set up on a 3.4 pulley on a Gen 3 with a stock TB.

Your injectors aren't enough without a rewire and pump.
 


I have 65# injectors, Caspers hot wire kit, and a stock fuel pump that keeps up juuuuuuuust fine on my build. But not all pumps are built equal.

Might as well go with larger than you need injectors, so there is always room to grow if you need to, and you can always tone them down, but sucks when you spend the money and then max them out and have to buy another set and so on and so on. Food for thought.

In the description of the video, had the exhaust mod list. More than anything, the stock gutted cat gives it its hollow rumble sound. Sounds much deeper than that in real life. Hard to get good sounds off a camera.
