How hard is it to swap a 2004 Grand Prix gt to a gtp 3.8

I have a 2004 Grand Prix 3.8L gt and im wantingt o put it up to a 3.8 GTP version. What all do i need to do new with these motors. I have recently done a head job after i blew both head gaskets so fairly new equipment. just dont know what all i need to change out for the super charger to work and hold pressure.

Yeah being an idiot and running hot and to fast blew out both gaskets on the inside toward the center of motor. Tore down the motor to the block cleaned everything had it shaved and i reassembled all in one day she runs good but for some reason i have a low sound knock from cylinder three but no power or acceleration issues so i figured if im going to upgrade just deal with it then.

Well you have two choices here...

1. Top swap the current engine.

This means, swapping your heads up on the car to the heads up from a supercharged car. (Search top swap)

2. Engine swap.

This is obvious enough, swap your engine for a supercharged engine.

Depends, if you can find the stuff used for a decent price turbo is always better. Top swap can be had for about $300 if you look for the parts.

Ok with a turbo would it be less of a hassle and time or would it be about the same? Like i said might seem stupid but i dont know much about the motor.
