How good are the 3400 motors? looking at a 99 grand am gt

1800 for that GP seems really cheap. He did say the oil light came on after the drive back from Colorado. I dunno. Can't hurt to look I guess.

Bust out the torque app and check the fluid levels

My app will wqork with a 2003? mines an 06, I thought it would be different, and what pids should I log to check fluid levels? I didnt even know you could do that.. Well I havent really checked is what I meant :)

Well I got the fluid levels down, It just made it look like you were saying something else... nevermind :th_doh:

Nope lazy lol pull the dip sticks. Other then that the usually rocker panel rust and check the strut towers and I would make sure the trans shifts smooth. Anything else would probably be minor and simple fixes it is a 3800 after all.

Wheel bearing was so bad I couldn't even hear most of the car. Needs some TLC and a tune up. Threw the torque pro on and threw these codes.
