how do you recieve payment w/ paypal?

Okay so I see people giving email addresses to send payment to, so does that mean they are giving the email that they gave when they signed up for paypal.
I have bought many things using paypal, but never sold anything, even on ebay.

I am looking to sell a lot of stuff for farly cheap, so ebay would pretty much be a waste, and I want everything to go straight through me.

yes. when you sign up for paypal, you use an email address. those that pay you, send it to your email address.

I am already signed up, have been for about 5-6 years now. So you just give them the email address you signed up with? How does that get you the money? Do you click on the link in the email and that makes it go through or something?

it just goes into an account that paypal creates for you under you email address account. I dont think I've ever withdrawn money from my paypal account but it can be done. They just transfer it to you bank account that you registered with. You know the backup funding account.

yup, what indeed said. After you get the monry in your paypal account, click on the "withdraw funds" tab. You can have a check sent to you for a small fee ($1-$2 and 2-3 weeks) or transfer to your bank account for free (2-3 days) Just plug in the amount you want to withdraw and choose how you want it done.
