how do you disconnect the oil level sensor from the oil pan.

I have all the bolts out of my oil pan, but i cant seem to get the sensor out, cant afford to destroy it. Please help. Thank you -98regalgsx.
 


Assuming you are a series 2 or 3 motor. If the electrical connector is still attached you turn the sensor counter clockwise with a a large adjustable wrench until you see the hole where you can access the clip holding the connector.

Once the electrical connector is off. Continue to spin the sensor counter clockwise until it's free. Slide it out and you are all set.
