How do I remove the middle door molding? 97-03

I just want to remove it to repair it, it's hangin off big time, and I just want to get it back flush. I will take it off, and put some 3M double face tape on it, but I obviously need to get it off first. Is it just clips? or is it something more difficult?

I am not sure about that and i have always wondered myself. I think it is bolted in from the inside of the door panel though but i'm sure somebody else will chime in on it

Well it's just going to be a day of working on it (it is a Grand Prix so no surprise.) I'd just like to know so I can check that off.

I just removed the molding off my 2000 SE. It's just adhesive. Use a thin plastic putty knife NOT metal. What looks like bolts are just guide pins. Do not pull on the molding it will snap into. Once it's off wet the residue with paint thinner and gently using the putty knife begin pushing the residue. It will roll up.

Its mounted with tape only, but it may still have a locating pin on the back which corresponds to a hole in the sheetmetal. No threads involved. I use a plastic wedge to remove, or a snap knife and a little water to lube the blade if the tape is still gooey not crusty.
