How can I remove the stock radio from my 98 GTP?

There's a large plastic cover that covers all the way from the gauges to the center console. I guess I would need to remove this piece first, but I see no screws to remove.

If anyone could help or even show me a thread where this has been discussed before (couldn't find anything in the search). Thanks in advance

It pulls off. Some take the kick panel off to make it easier to pull off. The kick panel is the thing above the drivers knees.

Yea the whole thing just pulls off.. just be careful because the clips break easily.. Once you have it off you can unplug the fog light switch and get the piece out of the way

Down by the pedals is a cover held on by two black trees. Pull them out and remove the cover. Then remove two screws holding the panel below the steering wheel. This will make the trim bezel easier to remove. Put the tilt all the way down on the steering wheel. Gently pull on the trim until all the clips release. If your car is equipped with fog lights you will need to undo the harness before you completely remove the trim bezel.
