How am I doing with prices of parts & work on my car?

I wanted to get you guys input on how I am doing on the investment & value of my car & how much you will think it will be worth in the long run.

I bought my 97 GTP w/ 176K on it for $1500.
The car is loaded (Sunroof, leather, HUD, etc)

So far the work & cost:

New cat $100
25K mile Transmission $100 plus a Xbox 360 (Deal of the century IMO) ($400 if you include labor & fluids.)
New LIM Gaskets & VC Gaskets $250 including Labor & fluids.

Needed:
PS pump (maybe?), tune up, tensioner pulleys, ECT sensor.

Total investements=$750

So as of right I spent $2250 spent on mechanical work & the car.

So what you guys think, did I get a good deal on the car & am I doing a good job on mechanical work prices. LMK

99 GTP 4dr, 67k, everything but the moonroof for $4500

needs tranny service, right rear pass motor regulator combo, all 4 speakers are out, and LIM gasket replaced.

already did tuneup, fuel filter replaced, air filter replaced, and replaced the coupler too

figure your prices as ill do it all myself too... Id say you did a pretty good job

Thank guys. I thought I was doing a good job, but I just wanted to get some opinions from the GP guys . Yea I did find a good deal on the trans. I originally got it for $200 of eBay out of a 99 Riviera, but I told the guy I sell xbox & he said he will do a 360 trade plus $100. So basically I got it for $100 because the 360 was just sitting their. \

My mechanic that did was work was so cheap because he used to be a GTP fanatic himself haha & he does great work. He had one of the fastest GTP in the Midwest at one point. He said he was running in the mid 11s @ 136mph. He's now into DSMs now. His name is Kevin Gurgland, anyone know him one this forum?
