• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Hoses VS Belts.

So today I woke up to find my car with a huge and I do mean HUGE puddle of coolant under it. turns out that the hose from the reservoir to the radiator got into a small tiff with the belt system and the belt won severely. Once again it leads me to believe that if Im not adding go fast parts to my car well then working on cars sucks!!!!

I've had that happen about three times that I can remember. I blame the massive amount of power :p

From the first day I had my GTP I was concerned about that, so I loosely zip tied mine to the little post that sticks up there in front of the battery.

When I get around to putting the car back together I'll run that sucker a bit longer so it has less of a tendency to go visit the belts.

If you still have your old hose, you can cut a section of it, cut a slit in it and zip tie it around your new hose so if your other ties happen to pop lose, you will have some extra protection there.
